American Touch Football

Touch football is a version of American Football in which the advancement of the ball is stopped by touching rather than tackling the ball carrier. One or two hands are used to make the stop, depending on the rules being played. It is usually played with the younger members in amateur competitions. The game usually consist of teams of four to seven so modifications are played on the player positions on the filed in comparison wit the full contact sport and passing play predominates. An alternative way of playing American Football without the full contact is Flag Football, wher a flag has to be removed from the waist of the person carrying the ball to stop the advancement.
