| Rugby 7's | Played on a normal sized rugby
pitch, but with only 7 players per side. While following basic RU rules, the
main differences are the length of a match (15- 20 minutes), only drop
kicking at goal allowed, 3 men per scum, the scoring team takes the next
kick-off and shorter sin-binning (2 min). See

Mini Rugby This is an exciting introduction to the game for the younger members. The under 7 and under 8 ranges play tag (no tackles) with two teams of 5 to 7 players - Official U7and U8 rules (pdf file). For the under 9's and under 10's , tackling is allowed and they play with a maximum of 9 players of which 3 are forwards and form the scrum - Official U9 and U10 Rules (pdf file). The emphasis is on learning and fun, rather than winning.
