Basketball Competitions in Europe

Competitions in Europe are overseen by FIBA Europe with a range of leagues both at club and National level and for different age and gender groups. See Wikipedia for an overview.
At Club Level, the top competition is the professional Euroleague, both men and women, operated by ULEB, a Europe-wide consortium of leading professional basketball leagues. The second tier of professional club competition also for both men and women, is the Eurocup. Teams participating in this are from the European Leagues of Basketball, not competing in Euroleague. Eurochallenge run by Fiba Europe, is also for professional men's teams. The Supercup is the women's version of the Eurocup.
At the National Level, a bienniel Eurobasket is played with a separate men's and women's competition. There are also annual National youth championships for players under 20, 18, 16 and 14 for men and women.
