The sport of Croquet is a game of skill and tactics which involves using a mallet to promote one or more of 4 balls through a set course of six narrow hoops. It can be likened to playing a combination of Snooker and Chess on grass. Through the strategic use of extra turns awarded for particular moves, players are able to build "breaks" of several hoops in a single turn.
