Darts

dartsDarts has developed from a popular UK pub game to an active league and championship sport at both amateur level, with leagues established across most countries and at Professional level, popularised through television. At its basics, Darts involves throwing/projecting a set of 3 'darts' at a circular board marked with sectors numbered 1 to 20 and with narrow circular segments defining areas where the score is doubled or trebled, and a central segment with two small circles defining the 'Inner and Outer Bull', which can take different values depending on the game. The objective is to reach a set score - usually 501 or 301 - before the opponent, with the final dart being a double. The maximum score with 3 darts is 180 (three 20's all trebled). It is possible to reach 501 in 9 darts
