Disc Golf

Disc golf uses specially made plastic flying discs instead of balls and clubs. The holes in traditional golf are replaced by a "Pole Hole®" basket (a steel basket over which chains hang) and as in Golf, the player has to complete a set course in the fewest number of throws, starting with the first 'Tee' and continuing toward the target, throwing each consecutive shot from the spot where the previous throw has landed. A successful 'putt' sends the disc into the target, usualy witha pleasing sound as the disc hits the chains. Wikipedia lists the following countries of having facilities: United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, Iceland, New Zealand, Guam, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Scotland, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, Hungary, United Kingdom, Peru, Belgium, Czech Republic, Taiwan
