Iaido
Iaido , the art of drawing the sword (katana) is a Japanese do-form (shin-budo), which was developed after the Meiji Restoration (1867-69). The Origin of Iaido is iaijutsu. It was originally trained as a martial art before the Meiji Restoration. In Iaido the focus is on the aesthetic movement, which is trained in accordance with established patterns (kata) against an imaginary opponent.
