The Tottenham Hotspur story began in August 1882. A couple of boys who were members of Hotspur Cricket Club discussed what to do during the winter as cricket season.  Not far from today's headquarter at 748 high road, under the traffic light on the corner of Park Lane, the club was formed by a dozen or so boys  in their early teens.
