Washers Game

Washers Toss, Washer Pitching, Poor-man's horse-shoes, "Texas Horseshoes",  washoos and many other names. Similar in concept to Horseshoe pitching, scoring the same way (individuals or teams compete against one another in an effort to be the first to reach a winning score of 11, 17 or 21 points), but using 2.5" in diameter washers with a 1" center hole and throwing them to land in a circular target. The target can be a recessed cup as a target, typically made of PVC pipe  3" or 4" in diameter and 4.5" deep or a hole in a flat, solid or even rubbery sheet raised off the ground, depending on the type of game being played. See rules and vocabulary from the Washers Pitching Association.
