Wind Surfing

windsurfWindsurfing (also called boardsailing) is a hybrid between sailing and surfing, using a single sail, connected to the board via a flexible joint. Steering is accomplished by the rider tilting the mast and sail or by manipulating the board., without the use of a rudder - the only sail craft able to do so. Windsurfers can perform jumps, inverted loops, spinning maneuvers, and other "freestyle" moves that cannot be matched by any sailboat. When compared to surfing, Windsurfers were the first to ride the world's largest waves. See Wikipedia.
